Surfing Punta San Jose, Baja
True Baja Surfing begins south of Ensenada. Punta San Jose, a series of reef breaks that becomes one sweeping right when a swell fires, but even on smaller swells there are racy right sections. The winds are usually offshore at Punta San Jose, but the kelp beds and the high cliffs keep it from getting to blown out. There are fresh lobster and camping at Punta San Jose. .
