Most of these breaks in the sea of Cortez are extremely inconsistent and resemble a lake. It will take a huge South Swell or a strong storm in the Sea of Cortez to make these waves break. Another chance is during the winter when the "chubasco" or storm season comes you may find some wave action I n the Sea of Cortez.

| Surfing Punta Perfecta, Baja Punta perfecta is a very powerful right reef point break. Punta Perfecta can be hard to find, but if you drive south from Vinorama you will barely see it from the road. Punta Perfecta needs a strong South swell to be good. |

| Surfing Boca del Tule, Baja Boca Del Tule is a series of breaks both sand and reef. Boca Del Tule has easy access because of the wide river mouth delta, which allows you to drive right to the break. |
