Surfing Volcanoes, Baja
Volcanoes is a lava rock reef break, which is on the way to Cabo San Quintin. If you are already driving to Cabo San Quintin Volcanoes is worth checking out on the way there. Volcanoes is good and can get really heavy. Volcanoes is series of reef breaks that stretch from the village of "Los Volcanes" to just north of the village of "El Playon," all the breaks in this area are very consistent and pretty much pick up any swells, the best time to surf is during the big west and northwest swells that usually come in Fall and in the Winter. Make sure that you wear booties, due to the sharp lava rocks at Volcanoes.
